Inception story in the earlier blog 'Blooming Time' inspired many of the Mulligore Production fans. It has been intended to complete that story this fortnight, but postponed. Reason was to highlight what their best friend Chandler Bolt wished to mention, for the benefit of scribes. Said info, received through e-mail exchange, is placed below as it is:
Last week I had dinner with Eben Pagan.
Ever heard of him?
He is the godfather of the online business world.
I have learned a lot from him over the years, and is even taught a couple of my mentors, who then passed down even more lessons from him to me.
Anyway…back to the dinner.
During our conversation, Eben taught me a lot about how to manage people… and how to manage a growing online business.
With Self-Publishing School growing fast and hiring more people (we have hired six more people in the last month alone), it was great advice that I can use right away.
During the dinner, Eben also talked about some new video training he has been working on.
He is pretty excited about these new videos because they teach his best stuff on how to create your first online business/digital product.
Gv
He said it is some of the best video training he’s ever done. I would have to agree.
I know some of you are interested in this, so I want to give you a heads up.
He talks about “How to Find Your Big Idea” that you can turn into a digital product.
If you have ever thought about turning your knowledge or the content in your book (if you have one) into a digital product, this is a great place to start.
My Big Sky Montana adventure
- Chandler
I spent last week in a massive cabin on top of the mountain in Big Sky, Montana.
The occasion?
Our first ever Self-Publishing School employee retreat.
We saw a bear, a buffalo, some elk, and tons of other wildlife.
It was amazing.
More importantly than that, we planned out the future of Self-Publishing School.
Here is a glimpse of the team on top of the mountain (about 60% of the team pictured here):
During this unplugged week on the mountain, I realized something...
How glad I am that I turned my books into an online product.
I realized it throughout the week but it was really drove home when my business partner James and I were walking on the trail in Yellowstone National Park.
As James and I talked, we started to fully realize how many people's lives we have been able to change since starting Self-Publishing School.
Customers, employees, subscribers, you name it.
So many people's lives are made better because of our company and what we do.
We hear it all the time but sometimes it takes a moment like this for it to really hit home.
We are creating more money, freedom and impact than we ever thought possible... all because we created our first digital product.
Since then, our lives have never been the same.
On my way back from the retreat Sunday, I sent you an email from the Salt Lake City airport, in between flights.
Did you get it? It was about Eben Pagan.
He's someone I learned from and modeled when I created my first digital product.
If there is anyone to learn from on how to create your first online product, it's him.
If you already have a book, creating a digital product is a no brainer.
It is an easy way to leverage the work you have already done to bring in more income.
Even if you have not written a book yet, it is still worth checking out.
Let me know what you think!
